As an underwriter on our Landlords & Strata products you'll be working with one of the most technically proficient teams in the market. We're running a cutting edge tech environment allowing us to ditch the admin and focus on the underwriting! The successful candidate will be a self-motivated high-energy person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and experience in similar roles. They may be an Underwriting Assistant or Broker and be looking to take the next step in their career, or have significant Customer Service experience and looking for an opportunity to join a fast paced, growing business.

Property Underwriting Responsibilities
Reporting to Gayle Harmar, our Head of Personal Lines, you will:- Technically review and underwrite strata and landlord risks in accordance with Hutch risk appetite, underwriting guidelines and statutory legislations
- Nurture broker relationships through stellar service and problem solving
- Develop and execute process automation with our tech team
- Assist the Underwriting Manager with ad hoc analysis
- Provide insights on the landlords/strata/property market, service & underwriting improvements
- Deliver our customer experience promise to our brokers
About You
You have:
- Enthusiasm to expand our brand
- Strata and/or Landlords background in Underwriting or Broking, or a very strong Customer Service and Admin background
- Phenomenal relationship building skills
- Solution focused energy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
