Hutch Underwriting will launch a Trade Pack in the next few months as the business continues to grow since its launch last year, CEO Robin Johnson said.

“We’re going to launch it in the second-half of this year. Trade Pack is aimed at tradies,” he told insuranceNEWS.com.au.

“So before the end of the year we will have Trade Pack up and running and that will be on Sunrise.”

The underwriting agency became a Lloyd’s coverholder in August last year and launched soon after in November it's first offering, a strata product, followed by construction in June this year. The two products are also on the Ebix-owned Sunrise Exchange platform.

Mr Johnson says professional indemnity is next on the list for the underwriting agency.

“We are growing quickly and the team is expanding. There are nine of us already and we expect to double that next year.

“We’ve spent millions on technology to deliver better service to brokers and I think it’s really coming good as a consequence.”
