Paridhi Mittal
Graduate Trainee
Paridhi Mittal, a final-year student at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), is pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce & Actuarial Studies with a major in Finance and a specialisation in Risk Analytics. She is also actively pursuing her actuarial exemptions on her path to becoming a Fellow of the Actuaries Institute.
She has recently joined Hutch as a graduate trainee, where she will be working across various teams within the organisation, starting in Claims. Paridhi's strong background in risk management and the insurance industry equips her with valuable insights and expertise that she brings to her new role.
Her previous internships in the banking and accounting sectors have provided her with a robust foundation and a deep understanding of financial systems, along with valuable exposure to the corporate world. Eager to leverage these skills in an insurance context, she views Hutch as the ideal choice for her career progression, allowing her to seamlessly transition her expertise into the insurance industry.
Paridhi is passionate about working at Hutch because she sees it as a field where she can apply her analytical skills and financial expertise to make a tangible impact. She is excited by the challenge of developing innovative solutions to complex problems and contributing to an industry that plays a crucial role in financial stability and security. Along with passion, Paridhi’s brings her proficiency in tools like Excel, Tableau, R Studio, and Python, which further enhances her ability to contribute effectively to Hutch’s goals.

Her team spirit is characterised by open communication, mutual support, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. She strongly believes in leveraging each team member's strengths to enhance overall productivity and foster a positive, cooperative atmosphere.
Outside of work, Paridhi has a passion for travelling and exploring new destinations, which fuels her curiosity and love for different cultures. In her spare time, she also finds joy in cooking and baking, experimenting with new recipes.
