Greta Livingstone brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to Hutch as a Claims Specialist. With a career spanning hospitality, aviation, and insurance, Greta’s diverse background has honed her ability to deliver exceptional service, streamline processes, and manage complex claims with precision.
Greta began her career in Australia’s high-end hospitality industry, working at renowned establishments like The Park Hyatt, the Shangri-La, and Hayman Island Resort. From coordinating weddings featured in magazines to managing the rebranding of a major hotel, she thrived in roles requiring meticulous attention to detail and a knack for problem-solving.
Her transition into insurance began at AAMI, where she gained expertise in motor and home claims, eventually moving into roles at leading organisations like QBE and CHUBB. Greta’s experience includes managing SME property, liability, and strata claims, as well as working in start-up underwriting agencies where she thrived in collaborative, fast-paced environments.
Greta chose Hutch because of its dynamic start-up culture and commitment to delivering personalised, flexible insurance solutions. She’s excited to contribute to product launches, shape processes, and be part of a team that values camaraderie and innovation.
Greta is passionate about simplifying claims processes and delivering seamless service. She believes in prioritising outcomes, resolving small claims efficiently, and focusing on what truly matters. Her approach ensures Hutch’s brokers and clients experience a smooth and stress-free claims journey.
Outside of work, Greta’s life revolves around her two beloved dogs, Mini, a Mini Fox Terrier and Jack Russell mix, and Maggie, a Beagle. She also has a love for travel. With a goal to visit all seven continents (she’s halfway there!), Greta relishes exploring new cultures and destinations, with Scandinavia holding a special place in her heart.
