Dominique Vagi is a seasoned insurance professional with over 15 years of experience in construction and property insurance in London and Australia. As one of Hutch’s two founders, she plays a key role in shaping the company’s vision and operations. With a background in chemical engineering, she uses her analytical and problem-solving skills in underwriting to ensure brokers receive practical and tailored solutions.

Her career has spanned both global and local markets, including the establishment of the Australian construction practice for a respected Lloyd’s syndicate. She has built high-performing teams, developed innovative insurance products, and assisted brokers in navigating complex risks. Dominique is passionate about making insurance more efficient and accessible, which aligns with Hutch’s mission to simplify processes, support brokers, and challenge the status quo.

As Hutch’s COO and Chief Underwriting Officer, Dominique is dedicated to building strong relationships with brokers by being accessible, responsive, and solution-oriented. She recognises the challenges they encounter and is committed to delivering clear communication, quick turnaround times, and practical insights.
