Connie joins the Hutch Team as our Complaints Specialist. After seven years in dispute resolution within the insurance industry, she has honed her expertise in balancing investigation with empathy, ensuring every complaint is handled fairly and thoughtfully.
In her role as Complaints Specialist, Connie takes a grounded and inquisitive approach to each complaint. Her proficiency has been built through years of real-world experience which has developed her appreciation for the finer details. The investigative process of Complaints is what drives her; following the details, asking the right questions and piecing together every side of a story to reach the fairest outcome. It’s an approach that blends patience, logic, and a genuine respect for the people involved.
At Hutch, Connie was drawn to the team’s down-to-earth culture and collaborative approach to problem-solving. She values open communication, teamwork, and the reminder that everyone, brokers, insurers, and the insured, share the same goal: to make the process easier for clients.
Outside of work, Connie enjoys exploring Sydney’s food scene, collecting art supplies (with every intention to use them), and watching classic horror films, ideally with snacks in hand.
