System Changes to Increase Efficiencies

We're scaling to new heights

From tomorrow, the 28^th Sep,  we’ll go live with system changes to streamline quoting and reduce referrals in both our Strata and Construction products.

Construction

• We’ve updated our minimum premiums
• No referral on contract values up to 100% of turnover (Transfer Basis only)
• Fewer questions on <$3M turnover builders:
  • Historical turnover not required
  • Subcontractor details are not required

Strata

• We’re offering additional section limits, for instance, up to 250k on Fidelity
• We’ve removed our question about the number of standalone buildings
• We’ve added several wall construction types and auto-rated them to reduce referrals
• We’ve added a field to declare any imposed water damage excesses to reduce referrals

To align to some of our new options (up to 30% limit on Loss of Rent up from 15%) we now have a new version of our Strata PDS.

Customers on all previous policy wordings (HRS1, HRS2, HRS3 & HRS4) will benefit immediately from all changes that are not materially adverse to them, per our Change of Terms and Conditions.
