Alex Taylor, our Junior Strata Underwriter, brings a wealth of experience and a passion for teamwork to the Hutch Underwriting family. With over ten years in athletic retail, including roles at Rebel, The Athlete's Foot, and Nike, he's well-versed in nurturing customer relationships and mentoring staff. Alex's journey began with inspiring customers to achieve their fitness goals, and as a Store Manager, he took pride in watching his team grow professionally and gain confidence.

His educational background includes studies at Sydney Secondary College and an Advanced Diploma in Advertising from TAFE NSW. Alex's dedication to learning and adapting to new challenges aligns perfectly with our dynamic industry.

So, why did Alex choose Hutch Underwriting? He was drawn to the positive energy and can-do attitude that defines our team. He aims to match and enhance this culture with his enthusiasm and dedication.

While Alex may not have previous experience with strata or construction insurance, his commitment to clear and helpful communication and his willingness to provide valuable feedback will undoubtedly contribute to making our insurance brokers' lives easier.

Outside work, Alex enjoys spending quality time with his two cats, indulging in movies and TV series, and passionately following his favourite NRL team, Wests Tigers, and NFL team, New Orleans Saints. In quieter moments, he finds solace in music and podcasts.
